 Ans. The poet wants god to light the lamp because there is 'darkness' i.e. ignorance in him, The poet wants god to light the lamp & change his 'darkness' into 'light' i.e. ignorance into knowledge.

 Ans. The door of the soul means the heart of the poet, The poet says that if you light the lamp of God's love in your heart, your surroundings & the whole world will be lighted, You will never be worried & don't have any tensions, you'll live your life happily full of joy

3. What should we pray for?
 Ans. We should pray to god to light the lamp of his love in our soul. We should also pray to him to change our darkness into knowledge. We should pray to him to touch us once so that all our clay will change into thy gold. We should pray to him to remove our worries & make our life peaceful & full of joy.
